Andrew Bell

Director, Emergency Management, Safety & Security at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre

Andrew Bell has extensive work experience that spans over a decade. Andrew began their career in 2005 as an Assistant Operations Manager at Oxford Seminars Inc, where they were responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and implementing shipping logistics.

In 2007, Andrew joined Queen's University as a Program Assistant, providing administrative support to various departments within the school. Andrew also served as a liaison between different departments and assisted the Assistant Director in optimizing office operations.

Andrew then moved on to the Ministry of Health Promotion in 2008, where they worked as an Administrative Assistant to the Manager of Public Education. In this role, they supported key initiatives and coordinated actions with executive offices.

From 2010 to 2020, Andrew worked at the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. Andrew held various positions, including Executive Assistant, Policy Analyst, Senior Communications Consultant, and Senior Consultant. In these roles, they provided strategic advice, conducted research, managed communications, and supported policy development for health promotion issues.

Most recently, Andrew joined the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in 2020 as the Manager of Emergency Management. In this role, they led emergency response operations, developed response plans, and ensured compliance with relevant legislation.

Andrew's work experience demonstrates their expertise in emergency management, strategic communications, stakeholder relations, and policy analysis.

Andrew Bell received their Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Queen's University, where they studied from 2000 to 2007.
