Carmine Simone

Thoracic Surgeon at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre

Carmine Simone is a thoracic surgeon with extensive experience in various leadership roles at multiple hospitals. Currently serving as the Executive Lead, Operational Readiness at Michael Garron Hospital, Carmine is responsible for planning a safe move for patients and staff into a new patient care tower. In addition to their surgical responsibilities, Carmine has also played key roles in quality and safety initiatives, as well as in the development of partnership programs to serve community needs. As an Assistant Professor and Lecturer at the University of Toronto, Carmine contributes to the Division of Thoracic Surgery. Carmine Simone has a FRCSC in Thoracic Surgery and has also pursued additional education in Executive Health Leadership and Health Leadership.
