Wendy Barner has over 19 years of work experience in various roles in the architecture, engineering, and planning fields. Wendy currently serves as the Director of Capital Planning and Redevelopment at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. Prior to this, they held the position of Interim Director of Capital Planning and Redevelopment at the same organization. Wendy has also worked as a Planning Coordinator at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Associate Architect at Stantec and as an Intern Architect at both Stantec and FSC Architects and Engineers. Wendy also gained experience as an Intern Architect at Dennison Architects Ltd. Wendy has worked as a Designer at Perennial Inc., an Engineer-in-Training at H2FLOW, and a Graduate Engineer at TOBIN Consulting Engineers. Wendy began their career as an Engineer-in-Training and Program Manager at the Government of New Brunswick.
Wendy Barner holds a Master's Degree in Architecture from Dalhousie University, which they completed from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they pursued Architecture Studies at the University of Waterloo from 2005 to 2006. Wendy'seducation journey began with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from McGill University, which they obtained from 1997 to 2001.
