Laura O'Connor

Laura O'Connor is currently serving as Perioperative Services Manager at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital since June 2023. Previously, Laura held the position of Nurse Unit Manager at The Royal Children's Hospital from January 2016 to May 2023, and worked as Floor Coordinator Theatre at Northern Health from January 2004 to December 2015, managing elective and emergency surgery cases. Laura's extensive experience also includes roles as ANUM - Theatre and CNS - Theatre in a vascular specialty setting. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing from RMIT University, a Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing from La Trobe University, a Diploma of Leadership & Management from the Australian Academy of Clinical Leadership, and Laura is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Medical and Healthcare Leadership at the University of Wollongong.
