Simon Brewin

Board Member at Royal Victorian Eye & Ear Hospital

For over 35 years, Mr Brewin has held senior management roles within the Victorian public health sector. This includes Executive Director roles at Peninsula Health, Monash Health and Alfred Health. His recent experience has been in the oversight of large scale infrastructure, building projects and facilities management. He has worked in an executive role in the Infrastructure, Planning and Delivery Branch of the Victoria Government’s Department of Health & Human Services. In this role he oversaw the planning and delivery of government-funded capital programs across public health agencies. Mr Brewin is a past state branch president of the Australasian College of Health Service Management, a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a past Board Director of Health Purchasing Victoria and is the Deputy Chair of Uniting AgeWell. Mr Brewin is also the Eye and Ear’s Nominee as a Director to the Board of The Centre for Eye Research Australia (CERA).
