Samuel Barrett

Samuel Barrett is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in human resources and learning and development. Currently serving as the Director of HR & L&D at Royal Voluntary Service since January 2024, Samuel has previously held significant roles such as Head of HR and Assistant Director of People Services at the same organization. Prior experience includes positions as Head of HR and HR Manager at St John Ambulance Cymru from November 2019 to December 2023, HR Officer at Princes Limited for a brief period, and HR Graduate at DHL Supply Chain. Samuel began the career with an early role as Assistant Store Manager at British Red Cross. Educationally, Samuel holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Cardiff University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Swansea University.
