Richard Falk

Richard Falk is an experienced leader in the boating and retail industries. Currently serving as the Director of Training and Qualifications at the Royal Yachting Association since February 2010, Richard Falk oversees a global network of 2,400 training centers and manages 25,000 qualified instructors, alongside responsibilities for RYA Publications. Previously, Richard Falk held the position of Chief Instructor for Sail and Motor Cruising within the RYA, and owned Global Yacht Racing from August 2006 to December 2008. Richard Falk has also contributed to Clipper Ventures PLC as a Round The World Race Skipper and held a General Manager role at Traveland focused on restructuring a network of travel agencies. Earlier in the career, Richard Falk spent over a decade with Coles Myer in various senior management positions, leading teams of up to 3,500 staff and handling significant turnover across multiple subsidiaries. Educationally, Richard Falk is a graduate of Monash University and St Ignatius College, Lane Cove.
