Britteny Backus

Britteny Backus is an experienced administrative and customer service professional with a background in fitness instruction and lifeguarding. Currently serving as an Administrative Assistant at IPWatchdog, Inc. since March 2023, Britteny previously held a position as a Sales Associate at Orangetheory Fitness in early 2023. Between 2019 and 2022, extensive experience was gained at the University of Mary Washington as both a Lifeguard and a Fitness Instructor, where responsibilities included ensuring swimmer safety and leading exercise classes. Additionally, a role as Head Lifeguard and Pool Operator at High Sierra Pools, Inc. in summer 2021 involved overseeing pool safety and maintaining cleanliness. Britteny holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics from the University of Mary Washington and a high school diploma from Broad Run High School.
