Tiroshan Madhushanka began their professional career in 2012 as the Head of Web Operations at Moraspirit Initiative, followed by a role as an Associate Software Engineer at Omobio (Pvt) Ltd. in 2013. In 2015, they joined Zone24x7 as a Software Engineer and was later promoted to Senior Software Engineer. In 2017, they returned to Omobio (Pvt) Ltd. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they contributed to the Digital adReach platform for Dialog Axiata (Sri Lanka). In 2018, they took on a role as a Lecturer and Visiting Lecturer at the University of Kelaniya, as well as a Technical Lead Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Rozie Ai. Tiroshan currently holds the position of Research Assistant at the National Institute of Informatics [Japan] 研究所, where they are researching the effect of Negative Sampling in Knowledge Graph Embedding.
Tiroshan Madhushanka's education history includes completing a Certificate in Java Programming at the University of Colombo School of Computing in 2009-2010, a BSc Eng Hons in Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Moratuwa in 2010-2015, a Master of Informatics at The Graduate University for Advanced Studies, SOKENDAI in 2020-2022, and a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Informatics at The Graduate University for Advanced Studies, SOKENDAI in 2022-2025. Prior to this, they studied Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry at Thurstan College from 2000-2009.
