Fred van Bergen

Fred Van Bergen is a seasoned electrical designer with extensive experience in the engineering field, currently serving as a Senior Electrical Designer at RPA Engineering since October 2022. Fred's career includes roles as an Electrical Hardware Engineer at Smiths Detection, where responsibilities involved engineering and designing electrical circuitry for security systems, and as an Electrical Designer at Actalent, where updates were made to a three roll calendaring system and modifications to PLC and Control Panels were executed. Previous positions include Electrical Engineer at NETZSCH Premier Technologies, Computer Aided Design Drafter at Exelon/PECo, and various roles in electrical and instrumentation design at On Board Engineering, CSD Engineers, DuPont, and BE&K a KBR Company. Fred holds an Associate's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Penn State University, earned between 1980 and 1986.
