Michael Laurenson

Michael Laurenson has a long and successful career in the technology industry. Michael began their career in 1995 as an Account Manager at Solution 6. In 2000, they moved to Datacash Ltd as Head of Telco's. In 2001, they became an Account Manager at CCH Limited, where they were the top sales person. In 2004, they were a Sales Manager at both Datawatch International Limited and Datawatch. From 2006 to 2015, they held various roles at MicroStrategy, including Head of Strategic Alliances - EMEA, Head of Alliances and Channel - UK and Ireland, and Head of Public Sector Practice. In 2020, they were a Non Executive Board Member and VP Alliances and Channels at RPA Supervisor and an Ambassador at JDX Consulting. Michael currently holds the role of Chief Executive Officer at Affinity Initiative.

Michael Laurenson attended Rondebosch Boys High School from 1982 to 1986. Michael then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Accounting Science from the University of South Africa between 1989 and 1992. Finally, they obtained a Master of Business Administration from the University of Leicester between 2003 and 2005.
