Shirish Kulkarni

Shirish Kulkarni, PMP, has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Shirish began their career at Mobil Oil Canada as an Operations Engineer from 1989 to 1992. Shirish then joined BJ Services, where they held various roles in Business Development, eBusiness, and Engineering from 1995 to 2007.

In 2007, Shirish joined GE as an IM Program Manager, managing projects, including a major upgrade and expansion of the Enovia PLM platform. Shirish also led the development and implementation of a post-sales product tracking system. During their time at GE, they delivered significant benefits through productivity gains and cost reduction.

From 2012 to 2016, Shirish worked at Baker Hughes as a Business Analytics Manager. Shirish led special initiatives in Business Intelligence, Process Improvement, and Driving Standardization. Shirish implemented various measures to increase field margins, reduce cycle time, control inventory, and manage approved suppliers. Shirish also designed and built a centralized demand planning tool.

At GE Oil & Gas starting in 2016, Shirish served as a Senior Quality Manager, utilizing Lean & Six Sigma methodologies for business process improvements. Shirish implemented a multi-disciplinary business process for resolving field issues and developed an Issue Resolution tool.

Most recently, Shirish joined RPC, Inc. in 2018 and holds the position of Director - Technology Services. Shirish is responsible for overseeing and managing technology services at the company.

Shirish Kulkarni, PMP, holds a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Environmental Engineering from the University of Alberta, which was completed from 1992 to 1994. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Industrial Systems Engineering from the University of Regina, where they studied from 1985 to 1989. In addition to their educational background, Shirish Kulkarni has also achieved the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, although the specific year of obtaining this certification is unknown.
