Becky Johnson is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Assistant General Counsel at rPlus Energies since April 2021, Johnson previously held the position of Senior Counsel at Dorsey & Whitney LLP, representing oil and gas, renewable energy, and mining companies from January 2018 to April 2021. As an Associate Attorney at Lear & Lear, LLP from August 2011 to December 2017, Johnson advised on resource acquisition and development. Early career positions include roles as Research Assistant at the Institute for Clean and Secure Energy and Judicial Extern at the United States District Court for the District of Utah. Johnson earned a Juris Doctor with high honors from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and a cum laude Bachelor of Arts in Economics from St. Lawrence University.
