Currently serving as Controller at RREAF Residential since May 2023, Markkus previously held similar roles at The Facilities Group and Greystar, where responsibilities included managing accounting teams and preparing financial statements for a large portfolio of properties. With a solid foundation in corporate accounting from positions at Axcess Financial and Fifth Third Bank, Markkus has demonstrated expertise in compliance, auditing, and financial analysis. Markkus holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Mississippi Valley State University and an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the Florida Institute of Technology.
