As the**Production Artist, you’ll love coming to work every day if you Get, Want, and have the Capacity to be accountable to the following things:
- Final File Preparation
- Proofing and QC
- Design layout
You’ll have success here if you value clear processes and feel qualified to do the following things:
- Contribute solutions for technical executions.
- Research and recommend visuals that can convey project messages or themes.
- Experiment with different approaches and techniques to achieve desired outcomes.
- Primary focus is the technical aspects of design and production of final digital and print files and execute Art or Creative Director's concepts into multiple files and formats.
- Color Management, ensuring accurate color reproduction across different devices and print mediums.
- Prepress and Printing Processes, Familiarity with printing techniques, color profiles, and print production workflows.
- Optimizing images for web and print, including resizing, cropping, and sharpening.
- Creating and formatting layouts for print and digital materials (brochures, advertisements, websites, etc.).
- Preparing files for output, including proofing, trapping, and imposition.
- Checking for errors in typography, grammar, and image placement.
- Organizing and archiving design files for easy access and future reference.

- Mastery of core Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and production best practices
- Knowledge of additional CC software (Premier, AfterEffects) an asset.
- Stay up-to-date with design tools/software and adapt them to specific projects.
- Maintain files according to AdFarm processes and structure.
- Ability to work seamlessly with a group as well as individually.
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.
- Capability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced, exciting environment.
- Artistic ability and a passion for creativity.
- Extreme attention to detail, file organization and time management of multiple projects each day
- Find innovative solutions to design challenges, such as limited budget or time constraints
- Strong awareness of client brand standards
- Respond quickly to client changes and be comfortable in fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills: must be able to work closely with designers, art directors, account managers and suppliers both verbally and in writing.
- An eye for design and layout, including video, music and animation.
- Thorough understanding of design, color theory, layout, typography and best design practices.
- Excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills.
