Kelly Shuman

Kelly Shuman is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in electrical systems and design. Currently serving as a BESS Project Engineer and Substation Designer at RRC Companies since December 2019, Kelly specializes in designing greenfield substations using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and Inventor. As the Owner and CAD Consultant at General Design since May 2017, Kelly provides drafting and design assistance for OEMs, focusing on creating comprehensive documentation packages for electrical and control systems. Previous roles include Control Engineer and Drafter at Allied Systems Company, where Kelly integrated telemetry systems and developed clutch transition recommendations, along with experience as a Manual Machinist. Kelly's educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering from the Oregon Institute of Technology.
