Thatcher Friant

Thatcher Friant is an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant currently employed at both Rutland Regional Medical Center and Dartmouth-Hitchcock since 2022 and 2020 respectively. In addition, Thatcher has served as an AEMT and Team Leader with the Londonderry Volunteer Rescue Squad since 2007. Prior to these medical roles, Thatcher worked in various engineering positions at Dynapower Company, LLC, and XL Hybrids, holding titles such as Sales & Applications Engineer and Prototype Engineer. Thatcher co-owned Allbright Window Cleaning, managing business operations from 2004 to 2010, and co-led the development of a Parallel Hybrid Competition Vehicle with the Alternative Energy Racing Organization, contributing to the team’s success in competitions. Educationally, Thatcher holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont, a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Franklin Pierce University, and completed a Post Baccalaureate Pre Med program at the University of Vermont.
