James G. Rodriguez

James G. Rodriguez has a diverse work experience. James G. currently holds the position of Vice President at RRP Consulting Engineers LLC. Before that, they served as Vice President of Public Works at S&B Infrastructure, Ltd. from 2021 to 2023. James G. also held the role of Director of Government Relations at S&B Engineers and Constructors, Ltd. from 2021 to 2021.

Prior to these positions, James worked as the Chief of Staff for the Office of Mayor Jeff Wagner from 2017 to 2021. Before that, they founded their consulting firm, James Rodriguez Consulting, LLC, where they served as President and provided government relations and public affairs consulting services. James G. also served as the Director of Corporate Development at Knomatic and Vice President and Director of Government Affairs at Texas Taxi, Inc. dba Yellow Cab.

Additionally, James has experience as a Council Member for District I in the City of Houston from 2008 to 2014. James G. also held roles as Marketing Director at Entech Civil Engineers and Chief of Staff for the Office of Houston City Council Member Carol Alvarado.

Throughout their career, James G. Rodriguez has demonstrated expertise in government relations, new business development, and leadership roles. James G. also has experience in fields such as information technology, mobile applications development, and housing and commercial development consulting.

James G. Rodriguez obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing from the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business, where they attended from 1993 to 1998. Prior to that, they received an Advanced High School Diploma from Charles H. Milby High School, where they were involved in varsity athletics, honors classes, DECA, yearbook, and student government from 1989 to 1993.
