James Wales

James Wales has a diverse work experience, starting as a Placement Student at Menzies LLP in 2006 and later becoming an Accounts Senior at the same company from 2008 to 2011. James then joined RSA in 2011 and held various roles such as FP&A Analyst, Senior FP&A Analyst, and Finance Business Partner. In 2017, they became Finance Director for Regions & eTrade and later took on the role of Finance Director for Regions, SME & Delegated. From June 2021 to October 2021, they served as the Interim Finance Director for UK Commercial Lines before becoming the Finance Director for UK Commercial Lines & UK Specialty Lines. Currently, they hold the position of UK&I Expense and Efficiency Finance Director (Vice President) at RSA.

James Wales has an education history that includes obtaining an Associate Chartered Accountant degree from ICAEW in 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy & Financial Management from Loughborough University in the years 2004 to 2008. James'ssecondary education took place at The Howard of Effingham School from 1996 to 2003. Additionally, they obtained a certification as an Associate Chartered Accountant from ICAEW.
