James Witter currently serves as the Head of Engineering at RSA since January 2024. Prior to this role, James was the Head of Technology (Global) - Commerce & Content at YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP from April 2016 to June 2023, where a successful transition to product-based teams was implemented, along with enhancements in release processes and technology optimization for significant e-commerce capabilities. Initially, James held various positions at THE NET-A-PORTER GROUP from April 2008 to April 2016, advancing from Senior Developer to Delivery Manager - Commerce, overseeing multiple teams and spearheading the shift from monoliths to microservices. Earlier career experience includes a Programmer/Analyst role at John Lewis Partnership and a Research Associate position at Durham University. James holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Durham University.
