Brett Curran

Brett Curran has over three decades of experience in various leadership roles within the technology, compliance, and operational sectors. Brett has served as the Vice President of GRC and Regulatory Practices at Axentis, the Corporate Chief Compliance Officer at UICI, the IT Director at Aegon, and currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and Privacy Officer at Academic HealthPlans. Brett has demonstrated expertise in compliance programs, technology solutions, and risk management best practices, contributing significantly to the success and growth of the organizations they have been a part of.

Brett Curran attended Tarrant County College from 1982 to 1987, studying Computer Science. Brett then pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Health Care Administration and Information Systems at Ashford University from 2011 to 2014. In 2010 and 2012, they were a Guest Lecturer in GRC Graduate Course at Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas. Additionally, Brett holds a certification as a Governance, Risk, and Compliance Professional (GRCP) from the Open Compliance and Ethics Group (OCEG).
