Ben Gordon

Ben Gordon is a Loan Officer at the Nonprofit Finance Fund since July 2018, focusing on expanding access to finance and management services for organizations in social sectors. Simultaneously, Ben is involved in applied economics research at UC Berkeley under Professor David Zilberman, concentrating on innovations, supply chains, sustainable development, and technology adoption in agriculture. Prior experience includes roles at Charles Schwab Bank as a Manager/Analyst in the Community Development Group, analyzing credit for Community Development Financial Intermediaries, and positions at Citibank and Merrill Lynch with a focus on credit underwriting and portfolio management. Ben has also contributed to the Brown University Entrepreneurship Program as a director and advisory board member, and engaged in recruitment for start-ups at Kindred Partners. Ben holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organization Studies from Brown University and a Master's in Development Practice from the University of California, Berkeley.
