Tristan Cherry has over 9 years of work experience, primarily at RSG - Resource Systems Group, Inc. Tristan started their career in 2011 as an Analyst in Transportation Market Research, where they worked until 2016. From 2016 to 2019, they took on the role of Consultant in Transit, Airports, and Pricing Market Research. In 2020, Tristan was promoted to Senior Consultant, leading project execution and client relationships in the public and private sector, with a focus on infrastructure pricing, transit forecasting, and public lands visitation.

Tristan Cherry obtained a Bachelor's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from Carleton University, where they attended from 2004 to 2008. Following this, they pursued higher education at Concordia University, from 2009 to 2012, and earned a Master's Degree in Transportation Planning.
