Ian Frechtling

Ian Frechtling is an experienced management professional with a strong background in legal, commercial management, and project controls across various sectors, including rail services and utilities. Currently serving as General Manager at RSGx, Ian leads a multi-disciplinary team to oversee legal and corporate governance, aiming for operational efficiencies. Previously, as Head of Commercial for Martinus, Ian managed the commercial functions during a period of significant growth, establishing robust governance practices. Ian's tenure at UGL Limited involved steering project governance for extensive utilities projects, while earlier roles at Downer and Greenlane Renewables Inc. contributed to expertise in commercial management and legal advisory. Ian holds an MBA from Henley Business School and has completed corporate governance education through the Governance Institute of Australia.
