Ben Moore

Associate Vice President at RS&H

Ben Moore has extensive experience in sustainability and climate change. Ben served as an Associate Vice President at RS&H, where they developed and managed various programs and projects related to climate action planning, alternative fuels, and sustainable design. Prior to this, Ben was the Energy and Climate Program Director at the Coastal Conservation League, where they oversaw staff and led initiatives supporting clean energy legislation and comprehensive climate action planning. Ben also worked at JEA, aiding the launch of a green building partnership program and conducting benchmarking studies. Ben's work experience also includes being a Climate Change Policy Partnership Research Fellow at Duke University, where they co-authored a comprehensive report on practical strategies to address climate change and researched energy-efficiency policies.

Ben Moore completed their education with a Masters of Environmental Management degree from Duke University Nicholas School of the Environment from 2005 to 2007. Ben'sfield of study was Environmental Economics and Policy; Energy. Prior to that, they earned a B.A. degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Haverford College from 1997 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, they obtained various certifications including ENV SP from the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure in December 2020, Green Globes, Guiding Principles Certification Professional (GPCP) from the Green Building Initiative in 2015, LEED AP O+M from the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) in 2014, and AICP from the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) in 2013.
