Mike Cheetham

Mike Cheetham is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of audit and assurance experience, currently serving as a Partner in Risk Assurance at RSM since October 2013. With extensive expertise in corporate governance, risk management, and compliance with government regulatory requirements, Mike leads internal audit functions for clients in the not-for-profit and public sectors. Prior to RSM, Mike held the position of Partner in Risk Advisory at RSM Tenon, focusing on internal auditing for the Education and Central Government sectors. Mike's earlier roles include Principal Auditor for the Further Education Funding Council for England, Audit Manager at the New Zealand Audit Department, and Auditor at Price Waterhouse. Mike earned a BCom in Business Finance, Accountancy, and Economics from the University of Birmingham.
