Amy Burns serves as the Fermanagh Reserves Estate Manager at RSPB since January 2016, overseeing estate management and livestock operations to achieve conservation goals. Prior roles at RSPB include Fermanagh Reserves Warden, focusing on daily operations and compliance at multiple reserves, and several positions at Portmore Lough Nature Reserve, including joint manager and assistant warden. Experience with BirdWatch Ireland as a Breeding Wader Field Worker involved advising on conservation practices. An apprenticeship at TCV provided hands-on training in wetland habitat restoration. Academic credentials include a Zoology BSc.Hons with a focus on Ecology from Liverpool John Moores University.
