Ben Caldecott

Dr. Ben Caldecott is the founding Director of the Oxford Sustainable Finance Group and the Lombard Odier Associate Professor at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, University of Oxford, where they focus on finance, climate, energy, sustainability, and nature. Currently, Dr. Caldecott serves in various leadership roles, including as a Supernumerary Fellow at Oriel College, Coordinating Lead Author for the IPCC Seventh Assessment Report, and Founding Director of the UK Centre for Greening Finance and Investment. Additionally, they hold positions on several boards and committees, influencing sustainability practices across financial institutions and governments globally.
