Emily Hewison is a dedicated conservation professional with a strong background in ecology and wildlife management. Currently, as a Curlew LIFE Project Officer at RSPB, Emily organizes and conducts surveys for breeding curlew while engaging with farmers and planning land management efforts. Previous experience includes roles as a Research and Monitoring Assistant with the Peak District National Park, where Emily conducted moorland monitoring surveys, and as a Red Kite Field Officer at RSPB, managing a volunteer team for the Red Kite Recovery Project. Emily has also contributed to the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust as a Field Research Intern and coordinated sustainability initiatives at the Sheffield Adventure Film Festival. Educational qualifications include an MBiolSci in Biology from The University of Sheffield and an European Baccalaureate from the European School of Frankfurt.
