Matt Thwaite

Matt Thwaite is an experienced risk and assurance professional currently serving as the Risk and Assurance Manager at RSPCA since February 2023. Prior to this role, Matt worked as a Risk Manager at the British Red Cross from March 2020 to January 2023, and previously as a Risk Officer at Together - loans, mortgages & finance, where responsibilities included enhancing control frameworks and conducting assurance reviews. Matt's early career at Together also included roles as a Compliance Officer and Complaints Officer, handling regulatory analysis and customer complaints respectively. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in Critical Theory from The Manchester Metropolitan University and a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Aberystwyth University.
