Thanuja Kandasamy

Thanuja Kandasamy has a diverse work experience in the field of learning and development. Thanuja started their career in 2002 as a Simulation Designer at ProfitAbility Business Simulations, where they supported client interviews and generated Excel models for simulation outcomes. Thanuja then progressed to the roles of Lead Developer & Facilitator and Head of Innovation & Design, where they created and supported training programs on finance and soft skills for clients in various industries.

In 2012, Thanuja joined the Association of Colleges as a Training and Consultancy Manager, where they worked until 2017. Here, they oversaw training and consultancy activities for the organization.

From 2017 to 2019, Thanuja worked at The National Skills Academy for Rail (NSAR) as a Senior Programme & Analyst Manager, responsible for managing projects and programs. Thanuja then transitioned to the role of Senior Project Manager, where they led specific projects in the rail industry.

In 2019, Thanuja joined RSSB as the Head of Learning and Development, a position they currently hold.

Thanuja Kandasamy obtained a BSc degree in Mathematics from Queen Mary University of London in the years 1996 to 1999. Thanuja later pursued an MSc in Computing Science (Conversion) at Imperial College London from 2000 to 2001, specializing in Computer Science.
