Vaibhav Puri

Vaibhav Puri has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and organizations. Vaibhav started their career in 2000 as an ERP Pre-Implementation Analyst at HCL Infosystems Ltd. Afterwards, they worked at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) as a Researcher and Post Graduate Class Teacher for computer simulation from 2002 to 2004.

In 2004, Vaibhav joined RSSB and held several positions throughout their tenure. Vaibhav initially served as a Business Improvement Manager from 2004 to 2010 before transitioning to the role of Senior R&D Analyst from 2010 to 2013. Vaibhav then served as a Decision Support Manager from 2013 to 2014 and subsequently as the Head of Technical and Regulatory Policy from 2014 to 2021.

From 2018 to 2021, Vaibhav held the position of Deputy Director of Standards at RSSB before assuming their current role as Director of Sector Strategy and Transformation in November 2021.

Vaibhav Puri completed their education in a chronological order. Vaibhav started with their schooling at Salwan Public School (SPS) from 1981 to 1993, where they completed their AISSE (equivalent to UK GCSE) in subjects like English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Social Science, French, and Art. Vaibhav then attended Delhi Public School (DPS) from 1993 to 1995, where they completed their AISSCE (equivalent to UK A-levels) in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Engineering Drawing. Next, from 1995 to 1999, Vaibhav pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Civil Engineering at KBP College of Engineering. Vaibhav then completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Marketing and Information Systems from NIILM Centre for Management Studies during the years 1999 to 2001. Lastly, from 2001 to 2002, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where they obtained their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Operational Research.
