Rplu Ned Smathers

Ned Smathers, RPLU, has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Ned began their career at AIG in 1993 as a Senior Underwriter and worked there until 1996. Ned then joined Chubb Insurance as a Senior Underwriting Officer from 1996 to 2000. In 2001, they moved to Zurich North America and held the position of Assistant Vice President until 2006. Since 2006, Ned has been with RSUI Group, Inc., where they initially served as a Vice President specializing in underwriting Directors & Officers Liability for both publicly traded and private companies, as well as managing the Fiduciary Liability book of business. In 2019, they transitioned to the role of Vice President and Public Company D&O Product Manager, where they serve as a team leader and has full authority in limits for public D&O accounts of all sizes. Ned Smathers has a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise in management liability lines.

Ned Smathers, RPLU holds an impressive education history. Ned pursued their undergraduate studies at Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business, specializing in Finance. Ned earned their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the university in an unspecified year.

Following their undergraduate studies, Ned Smathers continued to deepen their knowledge and expertise by pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Finance from the same institution. Ned attended Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business from 1997 to 1999, focusing on the field of Corporate Finance.
