Hans van Genechten

Hans Van Genechten currently serves as the Data Protection Officer at RSVZ - INASTI since December 2024. Prior to this role, Hans held various positions at Smals, including Deputy CISO, DPO, Enterprise Architect, and Project Manager from November 2006 to December 2024. Earlier experience includes working as a Project Manager and Consultant at Assusoft n.v. from June 2004 to November 2006, and serving as Lector Informatica at Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen from September 2003 to June 2004. Hans obtained a Licentiaat in de Informatica with a focus on Information & Communication Technology/Science from KU Leuven between 1998 and 2003.
