Gabriel Bareux

Gabriel BAREUX has extensive experience in the field of electrical engineering and research and development, currently serving as the Research and Development Director at RTE Réseau de Transport d'Electricité since April 2007. BAREUX holds significant leadership roles, including Deputy Director of ICT and Head of the Division of Power System Expertise, overseeing advanced tooling and methodologies for System Operations, Operational Studies, and Market Studies. Additionally, BAREUX has managed key projects such as ITesla and ASSESS. BAREUX's former experience includes a role as an R&D Engineer at RTE and involvement with Groupe AFNOR as a Convenor of the Flow Based IT group. BAREUX holds a Dîplôme d'ingénieur in telecommunications engineering from INPG: ENSERG and completed studies at Imperial College London.
