Miguel Juárez Portillo has a range of work experience in different roles. In 2016, they worked at UNAM FES Aragón as an academic support staff member until 2017. In 2018, they joined Cibernos as an Information Security Analyst until 2020. Currently, they are working at rThreat as an Artifacts Research & Developer Engineer I, starting in September 2020.

Miguel Juárez Portillo pursued their education at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. From 2011 to 2015, they obtained a degree in Ingeniero en Computación (Computer Engineering) with a focus on Computer Science. Later, in 2017 and 2018, they completed a Diploma in Information Security and Cybersecurity, specializing in IT and systems security. In 2022, Miguel furthered their education by enrolling in various programming courses at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Miguel completed advanced, intermediate, and basic Python courses, enhancing their skills in computer programming.

Additionally, Miguel has obtained several certifications to supplement their education. In February 2021, they completed a course called "Cybersecurity Compliance Framework & System Administration" offered by Coursera. Miguel also completed two other courses in December 2020 and November 2020, titled "Cybersecurity Roles, Processes & Operating System Security" and "Introduction to Cybersecurity Tools & Cyber Attacks," respectively. These certifications reflect Miguel's proactive approach to staying updated in the field of cybersecurity.
