Alison (Cartwright) Sykes is an experienced Innovation Advisor with a career spanning over a decade at RTI Innovation Advisors and RTI International since July 2015. Prior to this role, Alison served as a self-employed consultant for RTI International from May 2009 to July 2015, where expertise in innovation was further developed. Earlier in the career, Alison contributed as a Post-doctoral Associate in the Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill under Dr. Howard Weinberg from June 2006 to September 2007. Educationally, Alison holds a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, obtained in 2006.
