Joel Legendre-Koizumi

Joel Legendre-Koizumi is an experienced foreign correspondent based in Japan, currently working for TV5 Monde, BFMTV, MEDI 1 International, and Radio Canada since October 2014. Notable work includes coverage of Emperor Akihito's abdication in 2016. Joel has also held permanent correspondent roles at RTL and Radio TV since 2002, alongside a prior position as a foreign correspondent for Radio France Internationale from 1993 to 1996. In addition, Joel served on the Board of Directors for the FCCJ Foundation from 2009 to 2010 and was involved with the National Union of Journalists at Radio France from 1983 to 1985. Educational background includes St Joseph College.
