Shawn McFarland is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in editorial management and content creation. Currently serving as Associate Editor at RTO Insider since October 2018, Shawn oversees website and social media content and produces a daily newsletter. Prior to this role, Shawn was Managing Editor at Current Newspapers, where responsibilities included editorial operations and ad layouts, and also held the same title at Prince George's Sentinel, managing a staff of writers and overseeing the newspaper's daily operations. Earlier career experiences include a position as a Sports Journalist at Lehighton Times News, focusing on high school sports and community engagement, and coaching 8th grade boys' basketball at Pleasant Valley Middle School. Shawn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Pittsburgh.
