Tamarcus Jeffries started their career as a Controls Engineering Intern at General Motor in 2003. Tamarcus then worked as a Maintenance/Production Supervisor at General Motors from 2005 to 2009. From 2010 to 2017, they held multiple roles at General Motors, including Global Diagnostics Engineer, Manufacturing Crew Lead, Battery Engineer, and Design Release Engineer. Tamarcus worked at Baxter International Inc. as an Engineering Maintenance Manager and Facilities and Maintenance Manager from 2017 to 2019. Tamarcus then worked as a Plant Maintenance and Facilities Manager at AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing from 2019 to 2020. Tamarcus served as the Plant Maintenance Manager at Lear Corporation from 2020 to 2021. Most recently, they have been the Technical Manufacturing Manager at Johnson Controls from 2021 to 2023. Tamarcus is currently working as the Director of Maintenance at RTS - Regional Transit Service, starting in 2023.
Tamarcus Jeffries attended Tennessee State University from 2000 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Tamarcus then went on to attend Kettering University from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a Masters degree in Manufacturing Operations. During their time at Kettering University, they also earned a certification in Lean and Flexible Production Systems in 2007.
