Paul Lu has a diverse work experience in the biopharmaceutical and finance industries. Paul held various leadership positions, including Managing Director at RTW Investments, LP, Global Head of Business Development at Jiangsu Hansoh Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., and U.S. Head of Global Business Development at Jiangsu Hengrui Medicine Co., Ltd. Prior to their roles in the biopharmaceutical sector, Paul co-founded The BALSA Group and worked in investment banking at Lazard, where they focused on pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare services.
Paul Lu holds a BSc in Biological Sciences and Chemistry from The University of Waikato. Paul also obtained a PhD in Neuroscience from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
