Thierry Pochon

Thierry Pochon has extensive experience in helicopter mechanics and aviation, currently serving as Chef mécanicien hélicoptère AS 332 / EC 135 / AS 350 for the Swiss Air Force since March 2006. Pochon also holds the position of Mécanicien line station for the AS 350 B3 at Swiss Helicopter Maintenance AG, began involvement with the Patrouille des glaciers as Dispatcher PDG in March 2012, and has been a Mécanicien at RUAG Aviation since November 2012. Prior experience includes a role as OJT for EC 145 / Agusta 109 at Rega from September 2016 to March 2017. Pochon’s educational background includes numerous aviation qualifications, such as a PPL (H) licence and various type ratings and training from institutions like Swiftcopters Genève and Airbus training services. Key credentials also include a Licence B1.3 in Transport aérien and practical mechanical training achieved through a Cfc Tolier en carrosserie from EPSIC École professionelle de Lausanne.
