Matthias Hauswirth

Matthias Hauswirth is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in real estate and strategic management. Currently serving as a Member of the Executive Board and Chief Real Estate Officer at RUAG since April 2020, Matthias is also a member of the Strategic Management Board. Previous roles include Chairman of the Board of Directors for Nidwalden AirPark AG and Head of Real Estate Development at both Frutiger Gruppe and Steiner AG. Matthias has held significant positions in development and acquisition at Losinger Marazzi SA and worked as Lead Architect at Burkhalter Architekten AG. Educational credentials include degrees from Berner Fachhochschule BFH in architecture and real estate valuation, a business engineering degree from Private Hochschule Wirtschaft PHW Bern, and training in crisis management and military leadership.
