Melissa Spycher has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Melissa began their career in the travel industry, working as a Travel Advisor from 1994 to 1999. Melissa then moved on to the State Secretariat for Migration SEM, where they worked as a Clerk from 1999 to 2000. Melissa then joined Swisscom, a leading telecommunications company, where they worked in Corporate Marketing Communications from 2000 to 2002 and in Marketing from 2005 to 2007. Melissa later joined Die Schweizerische Post, a Swiss postal service company, where they held various roles including Marketing Assistant from 2007 to 2012, Marketing Manager from 2012 to 2016, Operation Management from 2016 to 2021, and finally Expert Commercial Office from 2021 to 2023. Melissa's most recent role was as a People Development Manager and Lead Business Training at RUAG, beginning in September 2023.

Melissa Spycher has a diverse education history. In 2017 and 2018, they attended Berner Fachhochschule BFH, where they focused on Innovations- und Changemanagement mit Design Thinking. In 2019, Melissa attended iimt - international institute of management in technology, where they became an InnoAcademy Basic Facilitator.
