Marty Dedecker

Marty DeDecker has extensive experience in IT service delivery and management. Marty began their career as an Assistant Director at Principal Financial Group, where they oversaw the delivery of corporate email, messaging, and collaboration systems. Marty also played a key role in Y2K planning and risk mitigation activities. After working at Principal Financial Group for several years, Marty joined Aviva USA as a Director of IT Service Delivery and Monitoring. In this role, they managed various aspects of IT infrastructure service delivery, including the IT service desk, mobile device management, and executive support. Marty then moved on to Athene, where they served as the Director of IT Service Delivery, Collaboration, and Messaging. Here, they were responsible for managing the customer-facing side of IT infrastructure, including the corporate intranet, collaboration tools, and email services. Most recently, Marty worked at Ruan Transportation Management Systems as the Chief Information Security Officer and Director of Infrastructure Services and Operations. In this position, they oversaw the management and delivery of IT security, IT infrastructure, and IT service delivery, including data center facilities, servers, storage, and the IT service desk.

Marty DeDecker attended Dowling Catholic High School, but there is no information about the years attended or the degree obtained. After high school, Marty DeDecker studied at Grand View University from 1981 to 1983, with a field of study in Pre-Engineering. Marty then continued their education at Iowa State University from 1983 to 1986, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
