Deborah Challis

Deborah Challis is an experienced professional in contract management and operations, currently serving as Managing Director at Rubber Road Ltd since January 2021. Prior to this role, Deborah held various positions including General Manager and Operations Director at YELLOW BULLDOG LTD, as well as Head of Operations at Rubber Road Ltd. Deborah's background includes significant experience with Their Majesty's Prison and Probation Service as a Senior Area Contracts Manager, where management of a multi-million pound Government contract was pivotal to the success of the Transforming Rehabilitation programme. Additionally, Deborah was an Area Contracts Manager at The Legal Aid Agency, overseeing a portfolio of 250 contracts with an accumulative value of £72 million. Early career roles include Litigation Manager at Citi and Clerk at the Crown Prosecution Service. Deborah holds a BA (Hons) in Law and Criminology from the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside, and has academic qualifications in Psychology, Biology, Maths, and 9 GCSEs at grades A or B.
