Jennifer Jenkins

Jennifer Jenkins has extensive experience in sustainability, climate policy, and research in the agriculture and forestry sector. Jennifer has held various positions in academia, government, and private consulting. Jennifer is currently the Chief Science Officer at Rubicon Carbon, a carbon solutions provider. Prior to this, they were the Chief Sustainability Officer at NCX and Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer at Enviva. Jennifer has also served as a member of the Board of Directors at GreenGasUSA. Jennifer'sexperience includes policy development, research projects, and business development. Jennifer has won numerous grants for extramural research and served on faculty committees. Earlier in their career, they worked with the USDA Forest Service and was responsible for developing and publishing the widely adopted "Jenkins equations" to estimate carbon storage in US forests.

Jennifer Jenkins completed their Executive MBA at the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business in 2016. Jennifer also has an AB in Biology and Environmental Studies from Dartmouth College. Jennifer Jenkins has a Master of Forest Science in Forest Science from the Yale School of the Environment. Moreover, they have a PhD in Ecosystem Ecology from the University of New Hampshire.
