Ben Lafountaine

Chief Executive Officer at Rubicon Protection

Ben LaFountaine has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Ben started their career as a Deputy Sheriff at the Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office in 2007 and served as a Deputy Sheriff until 2014, when they became a Reserve Sergeant until 2019. In 2011, they also owned and managed LaFountaine Family Homes LLC until 2019. In 2014, they co-owned and operated Jetpack Costa Rica for a year. In 2016, they became the Chief Executive Officer at Blue Line Courier, a private security company specializing in staffing large events and concert venues, as well as cash management for the marijuana industry in Washington State. The same year, they also founded Rubicon Protection, which offers executive protection services nationwide and monitors social media for threats. Finally, in 2019, they became the Business Owner at Bethany Assisted Living Home.

Ben LaFountaine obtained their Associate's degree in Criminal Justice from Lower Columbia College, a four-year program that they completed from 2004 to 2006. Before that, they attended Mark Morris High School from 2000 to 2004, where they did not pursue any specific degree or field of study.
