J. Scott Lapp is a seasoned theater professional currently serving as the Producing Artistic Director at Rubicon Theatre Company in Ventura, California, since October 2025. Lapp has directed various productions, including "Bonnie & Clyde" at Rubicon Theatre Company, and "Mary Poppins, The Broadway Musical" at Moonlight Stage Productions. In collaboration with Broadway Asia, Lapp directed a Japanese National Tour of a musical by Joe Kinosian and Kellen Blair.
