Andrew Romans

Andrew Romans has extensive experience in venture capital and startup investment. Andrew is currently a General Partner at 7BC Venture Capital, focusing on investing and supporting AI, FinTech, software infrastructure, and ITC startups. Prior to this, they co-founded Rubicon Venture Capital and completed over 75 venture investments from seed to series C stages. Andrew has also authored books on venture capital and blockchain, and managed a global team of consultants at Masters of Corporate Venture Capital, providing consulting services to corporate venture capital groups and corporates seeking startup innovation. Andrew is also a podcast host for Fireside with a VC. Additionally, Andrew has served as a venture investor for Superhuman, Aiden Technologies, Inc., DigiShares, and Umbra.

Andrew Romans has a diverse education history. Andrew obtained an MBA with a focus on finance from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Politikwissenschaft (Political Science) from Freie Universität Berlin and a Bachelor's Degree in Politikwissenschaft from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Andrew also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Vermont, where they studied Political Science, French, and German Literature. Additionally, Andrew Romans completed their high school education at The Pingry School, where they focused on Lacrosse, specifically in face-off and attack positions.

In terms of certifications, Andrew Romans has obtained the Series 79 Investment Banking Representative certification from FINRA in April 2013, as well as the Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent State Law certification, also from FINRA, in the same month and year.
